General Ecology, Inc. - General Ecology Europe General Ecology was founded in 1973 by Richard T. Williams, who continues as President of General Ecology. In the late 1960's, Mr. Williams envisioned the worldwide need for effective, reliable and economical drinking water purification, in the form of equipment that could conveniently be used by individuals at the time and place the water was needed. Accordingly, he organized an effort to develop, manufacture, and responsibly distribute scientifically advanced water purification equipment. Much of General Ecology's advanced technology evolved from Mr. Williams' work at the Lawrence Livermore Laboratories, where he worked with submicron and molecular separation and other scientific processes. From this effort came General Ecology, Inc. Now sold in over 40 countries, General Ecology products assist sophisticated customers worldwide in obtaining purified, safe drinking water even in the most unhealthy environments. From scientific expeditions, to rescue operations to boaters to residential users to national airlines, General Ecology, Inc. provides its customers with top quality water purification and micro water filtration systems specialized for their water needs. General Ecology Europe developed out of a recognition of the water needs of our European customers. Based in the UK, General Ecology Europe manages the accounts for several European countries, with expertise in water issues for this region.
